Our design approach responds to our clients’ needs - how they live day to day, what brings them joy, their inspirations, and emotional connection to interiors. We design for the client rather than impose our own style. As much as we consider our clients to be partners, we take the same view of our suppliers and tradespeople. We value transparency at all stages, and we hold ourselves to the highest standard to deliver the best possible end result, on time and on budget.
People Make the Project
Our Approach
Concept First
The rise of ‘social media interiors’ has given us all so many ideas and aspirations for our spaces. We think it’s important to work with clients to find the right concept for their project. Our goal is to help clients realise their style and fuse new with the existing to create a space that really works for them. We are firm believers in the process, as we have learned from experience that skipping steps or rushing ahead doesn’t yield better results.
Sustainability
Our commitment to designing sustainably can be seen in all of our projects. We always find ways to give existing pieces new life. We often incorporate second-hand (vintage and antiques) in our designs not only because it’s a sustainable practice, but also because it provides instant depth and character to projects. Apart from re-using and re-imagining, we also source from suppliers we know to be focused on sustainable manufacturing practices and renewable raw materials.
Sensory Driven
We love to enhance user engagement with spaces by creating an experience for the body and mind. We believe in multisensory design that goes further than functional and visual appeal. The citrusy smells of an indoor lemon plant, natural light pouring in from the patio, the rich texture of the chair that needs to be touched, the sound of a crackling fireplace or lighting that changes colour based on time of day … these are all sensory-driven aspects of design that contribute to true wellbeing.
