Porta Romana
Residential | Bespoke Lighting Design
In a competition run by lighting specialist Porta Romana, we were asked to design a room to entertain guests for owners who were into jewellery design and had roots in South Africa. The space aimed to give them a sense of place, transporting our clients to a beautiful sunset on the African grasslands. A bespoke central chandelier inspired by traditional African jewellery was the focal point of the room. A circular seating arrangement with an inky blue, coffered ceiling provided a stylish yet practical seating arrangement for entertaining. The design was chosen as runner up in the competition.
