Home Office

Residential | Sustainable Design

This room has been my home office since 2013. The pandemic of the past 2 years gave me the push I needed to finally make it somewhere I want to be. Planning began with the simple idea that as much as possible should be re-used, re-imagined, or second hand. This strategy is cost sensitive, eco-conscious, and personal. I repainted with Little Greene's Tea with Florence teal, incorporated joinery lighting, cabinet handles made from recycled fire hoses (https://www.elvisandkresse.com/), and sourced a vintage Danish desk (Vinterior). The chandelier is a vintage Italian piece sourced from Etsy. All of the art and decorative objects were made or collected over the years. The mirror and table lamps were Facebook finds, and so were the chrome chairs, reupholstered by me during the first lockdown.
